What you pour down your sink
This statistic is very telling. Imagine all the chemicals that are in the products you use to clean even wash your clothes. Where do they do when you rinse your sponge, or cloth or spray down your bathtub? Into the water systems and sewage systems do not always get everything so they recycle back into the water. It is a scary thought. If more people would turn to green products that are all natural we would save not only our own families lives but also the lives of those we don't even see, the families, animals and wild life that these toxic chemicals return back too.
More than 32 million pounds of household cleaning products are poured down the drain each day nationwide. The toxic substances found in many of these are not adequately removed by sewage treatment plants. Guess what happens when these are returned to the rivers from which cities draw their drinking water?
